Novel Quantum Based Signal Processing Method

Semi-Classical Signal Analysis (SCSA)

‚ÄčFor the last couple of years, Professor Meriem and her team have been working on developing a novel quantum-based method for signal and image processing. She introduced the concept during her Ph.D. This method allows the decomposition of the signal/image into set of functions given but the squared eigenfunctions of a semi-classical Schrodinger operator. We named the method SCSA for semi-classical signal processing.

Promising results have been obtained in the analysis and post-processing of biomedical signals.
